Closed: 4 DSS water experts for Mozambique due to cyclone Idai

After previously having opened an interest registration for possible missions to Mozambique, DSS water has now received various requests from IOM and UNICEF for missions to Mozambique. We are looking for:

 


1) Closed: IOM – WASH Officer. Duration of the mission is 3 months, duty station is Maputo with travel to affected areas. Start date is as soon as possible.

2) Closed: UNICEF – WASH Cluster Coordinator. Duration of the mission is 3 months, duty station is Chimoio. Start date is as soon as possible.

3) Closed: UNICEF – WASH Emergency Technical. Duration of the mission is 3 months, duty station is Beira. Start date is as soon as possible.

4) Closed: UNICEF – WASH Emergency Technical. Duration of the mission is 3 months, duty station is Maputo. Start date is as soon as possible.

Command of the Portuguese language is a big plus. For more information, see the attached Terms of References.

The positions mentioned above are all for a period of 3 months with possibility of extension. If you have indicated a different availability, although you are interested in a longer mission, please contact us about this.

Many experts have already expressed their interest. In the first instance, we have selected experts who have technical expertise and master the Portuguese language. We will contact these experts as soon as possible.

Due to the scale of the disaster, we expect to post more positions in the coming time period.
